Took my 8 year old daughter out for an afternoon on the water and a little father daughter fly fishing. No sooner had we paddled away from the launch she caught a 10" rainbow on her bunny leech that she tied. The little planters did their very best to eat her fly for the next two hours but its not so easy to hook the small bows. Much fun was had and she learned alot about fishing with the fly, and the proper way to dangle ones feet off the side of the boat. I was reminded its not all about the catching.

Is this lake selective gear only? What kind of fish is in the pic?

Yes it is selective gear at Horseshoe. That fish is a Chum caught at Chico Creek last fall, daughters 1st fish. The caption didn't make it on to the post "not actual fish from Horseshoe".
