Went back to Spring Lake to put in more hours for trout. I spent another hour starting at 8pm hunting for trout. I only caught one trout during my last 7 hours on the this lake. Its starting to be frustrating. The trusty wedding ring and worm combo isnt working anymore.
Since every fishing trip is not wasted if you learn something. I went to a spot where I saw some guys catch perch before. I spent the last 30 minutes catching 6 perch. They were in the 6 inch range. It was fun to get the skunk off my back and to see the bobber dancing.
