50 degree weather and sunshine brought a few anglers out to Meadow Lake this afternoon who tried their luck for bass and panfish. While the weather was nice, the fishing was slow on the lake, which just had the ice go off two weeks ago. Nobody hooked or caught anything in the hour and a half I was there with my six year old son.

I tried slow rolling a spinnerbait, slowly working a crappie jig, and just tossing out a nightcrawler both under a bobber and off the bottom. No luck with any of the above - but as always, it was nice to be fishing.
