I GOT A NEW REEL AND ROD FROM MY UNCLE AND NEEDED TO BRAKE IT IN. SO MY UNCLE DROVE ME DOWN TO THE COVE AT FISH LAKE. IT WAS A VERY WINDY DAY (MY FAVORITE WEATHER TO FISH IN). SO I WALKED ON THE DOCK AND FOUND MY FAVORITE SPOT ON THE DOCK. I PULLED OUT A WORM THAT WAS CUT IN THIRDS. HOOKED IT TWICE AND TOOK A NEEDLE AND FILLED THE WORM FULL OF AIR SO IT COULD FLOAT. IN FIFTEEN MINUTES I CAUGHT TWO NATIVE BOWS OVER 12".REBAITED MY HOOK AND LET THE WING TAKE MY CAST. NOTHING FOR 30 MINUTES UNTIL I SET THE HOOK WITH A FISH ON. AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS A LITTLE GUY UNTIL I SAW A BLUR IN THE WATER AND TOOK OF. MY SHIMONOW REEL WENT CRAZY. I DID NOT KNOW WHAT I HAD ON.5 MINUTES LATER I ALMOST SOILED MY PANTS WHEN I SAW MY FIRST GERMAN BROWN TROUT. WEIGHING IN AT 4..5 POUNDS AND 18 1/2 INCHES. GOT MY PICTURE TAKEN AND IS NOW IN THE BAIT SHOP. THAT DAY I MAXED OUT ON MY LIMIT BOTH WAYS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 4 BOWS OVER 12"AND A 4.5 POUND 18.5 INCH GERMAN BROWN
