Thanks for the report!
Took my 4 year old nephew out to catch some bluegill while I fished for largies. It was slow for me. A couple topwater strikes with a green, white bellied rage frog, but no lands. I had to put my pole down for good after about 20 min because my nephew was catching bluegill as fast as I could cast his line out! It was one after another for about 2 hours with just a bobber and a piece of a nightcrawler. I was so excited about him having so much fun, that I quit fishing and helped him for the rest of the day. He caught one of the biggest bluegill I have ever seen. My guess is that it was at least 3/4 of a pound.
On a side note, I did see a few cruising bass in the 3-5lb range while fishing for bluegill. I'll be back for those later!!
