i caught a fish. finally. it's been a while.

it was about the length of my foot, but not nearly as much meat.

another guy I saw working the pads said he got a 3lb smb. nice.

I threw cranks a bit, but as usually when all else fails, resorted to drop shot.

lots of bites, only one landed. I looked at him, discussed water conditions, he said I should move on as he was the only fish there. He lied. Others bit, non hooked. guys next to me caught a bunch of blue gill bobber and worm style. spfff.

I took a picture, but he was so small you can't tell its a fish.

Have you considered baiting the hook with antidepressants? Congrats on catching the lie... err... fish.

LOL good times. I was just happy to start hooking them again. I really like this lake, I think because it's big enough to open up the boat and explore, but small enough to not be overwhelming for me like lake washington. But I keep hitting spots where I have caught ONE fish before, and I'll work the snot out of them. Finally today I opted to try a new area and I started catching or at least getting bites again.
