Fished solo arrivied at the lake around 6 am water was like glass and I was the first on the water. Started flipping the shoreline with a Zoom lizard got two small bass after a lot of work. Decided to try my luck with a spinnerbait in black and red with gold blade. Backed off of shoreline and fished areas close to deeper water thinking fish might be in transition and feeding before spawn. Got two smashing bites the first jumped and threw the hook but the second I got it was just shy of 17 inches and a little over three pounds. Got picture and released but can't figure out how to post.
