After reading a few reports I decided to check out Coulon Park.
When I get there, there were a lot of people fishing, but nobody was catching anything.
I talked to some of the people and most of them were fishing for trout, some for perch, some for smallmouth bass.
I started off using a dropshot rig with nightcrawlers.
I pretty much tried every spot on the dock with no luck.
Was kind of surprised cause when I fished of the dock at a small park in Kenmore area, I killed the perch, pumpkinseeds, squawfish, and the occasional largemouth with this set up.
After that I started throwing spinner baits and crank baits around the rocks and edges with no luck.
Then I switched to soft plastics. Tried Zoom Brush Hogs, Senkos, Roboworms, all texas rigged with no luck.
After about an hour, I just decided to call it a day, especially since nobody was catching anything.
There was an only man there who I talked to and he said that once "summer" finally hits, that any of the methods I was trying should produce fish.
Anyways, the main reason I wanted to make this post was to ask anyone who has experience fishing here for any advice, tips, help and what not.
Are there are good spots on the docks to fish? Certain baits that work well? A good set up / method to fish?
Any information would be much appreciated!
I haven't fished Lake Washington much so I don't really know of many public places to fish it.
The only place I had fished previously was that small park in Kenmore.
