I've wanted to fish this lake for years and I finally made it. Long drive from the West side. Beautiful sunny, calm weather while I was there, so the fishing was quite poor. I fished from my pontoon boat, so was only able to explore a limited amount of this large lake. None of the people I talked to in boats were doing that well, so I don't think it was just me. I did pick up a couple nice fat 16 inch bows in the lake outlet area and lots of small bass using an assortment of spinners and bait fishing. The lake level is low. I didn't see anyone having a problem launching or loading a boat though. At dark there were dozens of coyotes howling and I've never heard so many in one area. I'll be back.
