This was my first time fishing this lake. Me and my girlfriend went to see some friends. It was rainy all day but decided to fish anyway. We stopped at one of the docks to try it out. My girlfriend caught a small trout within 10 minutes. The locals that were there weren't having much luck. My gf was joking with them for "showing them up". One of them wasn't to happy. We moved spots to the dock by the airport. I started casting a F7 silver rapala along the weeds hoping to catch a bass. Instead a 2lb trout smashed my lure. It put up a good fight. I started to get soaked so we left and headed back home to Bremerton.
