I Fished off of the bridge. I caught a couple rock bass with a slip bobber and worm. I caught about 8 little trout casting a wedding ring and a kastmaster. A lot of rising trout everywhere. Nice day, those little trout will bite on a lot of things.
From the picture, I can tell that what you caught wasn't a trout but actually a juvenile chinook salmon. You can tell by the large oblong spots These fish travel through the lake, down chambers creek and then out to sea. Please do not keep the salmon and safely release them back into the water. Nice Rock Bass though.
Yes that is a salmon , it all so has forked tail on it and the spots to and it even looks like the adipose fin has been cliped ! cool good to know you let it free and didnt try to cook it up lol Wink Wink.................. thanks for the report!
Cool! It is neat when you catch more than one species of fish in the same day.
