Yes, the weather was beautiful. We arrived early afternoon, and I fished from dock awhile and caught crappie, 1 keeper and the rest too small. We set out on the boat looking for perch, went out to our regular haunts, 1 perch about 10" thats it. Moved on to "the cove", no perch, but saw crappie hanging out under the pads, no interest in biting at all. Moved back into the really hard to reach areas to catch bass. My first cast out I got a hit, but missed it. So I thought I would try it again, second cast I caught it, my first really big bass at Downs, 19", she was heavy for me to hold up for the picture. I let it swim back to the pads. The next day we went out to find the perch, nothing, so we headed over to the "gun shot" hole and started plugging for bass. Caught several in the slot, lost a few too. Ron snapped his line on a big one and about fell off the boat. And we talked about how that would have really hurt cuz we were only in 2 1/2 feet of water. Next time we are really going to try and find those PERCH. Happy Fishing Everyone, be safe. Darla
