Fished from the dock, caught a few planters.

Noticed that 2 out of three trout caught of the dock (including those caught by others) had bright red "rasperry" red Tumors on or near one nostril.

It seemed that most of the trout with tumors were planters - does anyone know why these fish have these, and what is the cause?
