Dave, you have some of the nicest LMB pics on the net!
At least for this state, and you do it west side.
Thanx for the pics and info even if it is outside my limited fishing range (Fed Way area, family keeps me close to home unless it is a vacation or something)....
I can vicariously extend out the fishing range with reports like yours :-)!!!

Hey knotty Thanks for the pat on the back! Use a tripod and plenty of shots to get just the right one.

5'6" huh? Doin' it old school style! I'm picturing an Abu round baitcaster on that thing, and the rod has one of those molded black trigger handles. Nice....Also I like the color on that 4 lber; love it when they're dirty black like that.

Actually Nik I'm using a bass pro shops pole and come to think of it i have cork handles on all my reels which seem to me to help keep hands warmer in colder weather. of the level wind or bait caster reel i have been using is the Quantum 10 sg on all my poles be it crankbait, spinner-bait, or flippin and pitchin.I have in my boat poles from the 5ft 6in to 7ft. 6 in and in between.

Beautiful largemouth Dave!!!! Was wondering what ya caught them on with the selective gear rules in effect at Munn. I have fished that lake a few times in the past and also the little connecting lake Lake Susan. Caught a 3 1/2 pounder in Susan. I fished from my bass boat but now I see they also have a no internal combustion rule in effect which would prevent me launching there. Anyway, thanks for the report -- and nice catch.

Forget the gear - I missed that you were using barbless jigs. Barbless worms would probably work too as well as barbless spinnerbaits.

LOL, I'll have to think about mounting a tripod on the float tube :-)

Kidding of course.

Has been tricky though trying to get the camera out of the ziploc bag and operating while trying to play a fish with one hand and unable to reel at all.
Makes for some... Uh... Less than perfect shots.
Most get deleted even when I get as far as getting the camera out with one hand while playing a fish in a float tube.

Continued good luck to you and Thanx for the obvious continual C&R of the bigs.
Sometimes I think perch get stunted in some of the small lakes around here when people take those big bass out of the small lake ecosystems.
Perch are better eating than bass anyways and those big bass tend to balance out a lake well enough to allow for fewer but bigger perch (the kind I like to eat).
Never could figure out why people will throw back a 5 inch perch in a lake swarming with them, but will gut a 4 pound bass in the same place.... Especially in a little lake that probably only has a handful of big bass.
