Wind out of the west at 8mph no water temp as I didn't even bother to hook up my electronics. Fished through an area of pads 3 times, first with a jig, then a worm, then back through with a spinnerbait and in 2' of water saw a wake darting up behind my spinnerbait and wham! Fought her through the pads and grabbed her by the face! 6.7lbs of big green largie! Caught 2 14-15" dinks on back to back casts about an hour later and missed another big boiler, but that was it! Not dissing a 6+lb largemouth with a 3 rating, just following the rules of the site. The fish is a ten in my book, and made it worth the drive! I will show her due respect by posting both the pics I took of her...enjoy!
