With the smallies spawning, I thought I would leave them alone and head up north for some largemouth action. Spent a few hours on Terrell today and couldn't buy a bite?? Water temps were 59-61 degrees had wind 5-10mph out of the west, overcast skies and I fished from 1' to 8' in every type of structure and cover I could find...threw jigs, spinnerbaits, frogs, buzzbaits, senko's, t-rigged worms of various colors, jerkbaits, swimbaits, flipped every lily pad field and patch of grass I could find, even ran back into the super shallows trying to even spook a spawner...nada. So I left.
It would turn out to be a good decision:)
