Heard the perch were starting to bite so me and the guys went down to amercican lake to check it out. and what do u know, first cast FISH ON! pulled in my first perch of the season woohoo! And so far its my only perch of the season because i didnt catch any more after that...but elijah caught 2 or 3 and Will caught 4...so id say the bite was ok...but for early season i'd say it was pretty good! we were only down there for about an hour or so, the wind was pretty unbareable...especially for someone who forgot his jacket...anyway, if you like catching perch, definitely go check out american lake, you wont be sorry.
