Noticed other post and had to comment. I must agree that I also think the walleye population seems down on Sprague. I the crappie aren't in great shape either. But I had a great summer on Sprague. Fished it about 6 times. First time only one cat. But then each trip was good for 9 at the worst and 15 on one day. Almost all fish were around 19-20 with one almost 25". I wasn't at the lake early and fished by myself. If you aren't doing great walleye fishing on Sprague it's time to get rid of the bottom bouncer crawler set up. I started my trips with that option and did really good one day staying with it. But on the other days I switched it up....and got the bite on another option. Best bite came long lining cranks on the flats. Some days a deep diver worked then other days you could pull the smaller cranks about 10-12ft. Anyway if you aren't catching walleye somewhat consistently on Sprague try something different.
JOHNNY BOY.... please practice catch and release
