Actually fished Rock for two days in a row. First day used my new float tube (one wife bought me for Christmas) and fished up through a couple of coves. No luck on the fishing and even though I had some pretty thick neoprene on, I thought hypothermia was gonna set in before I got back to the launch. I finished the day just fishing nightcrawlers under bobbers right from the launch, still no luck. The next day I went and tried the same thing, all day long, caught nothing. One other guy at the launch, Steve his name was, caught a brown on a spoon. One boater returned after a couple of hours and had a load of browns he'd caught fishing against the shores with a rooster tail. He gave me a couple and God they were good eating, never had tried Browns before, but they're definitely a good eating fish. Anyway, think I'll try it again when the weather warms a little, I'll try the tube and the rooster tails and find out if they're really in there. Locals I spoke with indicated the lake was up from the warming trend and run off we'd experienced. I should also say that while I didn't say any crawfish in the lake, the fish had them in their bellies.
