Hiked into the lake from the top viewpoint. Ended up getting there late in the afternoon. Lake is very scenic. There were a few mtn bikers down there when we got to the lakes edge but nobody fishing. Fished from shore with a brown wolly bugger and had two fish on and landed one nice brook trout. Weather moved in quickly and we had to start back to the car. Plans are in the works to go back next year and pack in float tubes, I think you would have great success this way.
