I guess that last weekend I was at the right place at the right time. Had only one strike off of a Mickey Finn fished on heavier intermediate line. Saw a few rises from smaller fish scattered about at sundown. Used fast sinking sink tip and fished from various depths along the shoreline from the east entrance to to the south shore point, across to the northern inlet and back along the north shore to the east entrance. No deals.
Temperature readings at various depths may very well proved necessary. A gentleman that has fished the lake for 25 years tells me temp readings are absolutely necessary to find fish.
