Lots of bites but I only got 2 fish to the boat. The first fish was about 13" and was released for an other day. The second fish was deserving of some bragging. She took off with my fly which was about 6 or 8 inches below the surface and all of my fly line and was into the backing before I could get my drag set. I wasn't prepared for a large fish. I got her reeled in and she took off again and went into my backing before I could slow her down. She fought me for 12 or 15 minutes before I got her in the boat. She was 22 inches long and weight an even 5 pounds on a non-digital scale. By the way I was using 5 pound tippet. I usually release my fish but I had to keep this one for photos. As you can see she was a wonderful fish.
