Sent report in on the 23 guess it didn't go through. Here goes again. Got to public launch at about noon. water temp 58 degrees-water clarity 4 to 5 ft.- slight wind with sunny with cloud cover passing by. Lure for the day jig and pig in the blue/black combination. found Bass in the brush pile along the shore in about 2 to 3 ft. of water. Fish took my presentation of flippin and pitchin lure fore mentioned above.Had 4 strikes for the day caught one (pictured). Loss 1 fish on follow up lure (Sinko) but drag was too loose for good hook set. Got to remember to check drag each time out on water. High water temp of the day was 62 degrees. Spooked a few fish in the lily pad shallows so fish are definitely moving shallow. Trout fishermen were doing OK throwing and setting bait on the bottom Thanks to Michael Lohr for pictures took at public launch.
