Went for a couple hours after the kids had preschool and was fishing by 4pm. I couldn't believe how many fish I was marking. I don't have a good fish finder and all I really use it for is marking depth. I usually don't mark much of anything but today I saw quite a few. I was fishing north side of 520 near the point on the westside and along that shore (maybe 1/2 mile out). I have had a lot of success there but usually in the summer. Anyway we hooked into what I think was a blackmouth but it could of been a rainbow. At or about 20" so I threw it back because I wanted to be safe. The kids were really excited either way. Last hour I got nothing, the wind kicked up a bit and my 3 and 4 year old were running out of M&M's. I hooked the fish on a green with black dot spoon (you know the kind but can't recall the lure tipped with worm. Anyway hoping it starts heating up.
