We hit the water from the public launch at about 0730 and headed across the lake for the neck at the NE corner figuring to work shollower water. All the way across the 65'-75' water the finder only picked up a few stray fish running in 4'-6' water. The weather was unsettled...mostly a cold wind blowing and when we started up the neck the wind got worse so we turned around and headed down the East side and found calmer water. I was trolling with a two spinner shaft I make with a wedding type lure I also make tipped with a small rubber trout worm and dosed with Bragger Scent. We were in close running in 8'-10' water on a slow troll and would hook-up fish just as we were straightening out from a turn. I landed five and my son-in-law landed two after he switched to my set-up from the Muddler tipped with a Night Crawler set he was using.
