Tough for me to make an accurate rating on today. My report is on Bass and I gave it a 3 star rating, but truth to the matter is, I never hooked a single bass.
If I had targeted Rainbow trout, the rating probably would have been a 4 or 5.
Fish Lake Kapowsin today. Got on the water around 9:00 a.m., I would say. Fished the shallower water, up to 20 feet, along shore and structure (where isn't there structure in this lake?) using a tube, I guess they call it, or a skirted tube would seem more like it to me, in pumpkinseed.
About an hour and a half into the day, and close to shore, hooked into a nice 16" Rainbow. Strong fish, but not my target. 20 minutes later hooked a smaller trout on that tube thing, lol, lost it at boat. I then caught a 13" and a 14" Rainbow all on the same plastic and all within, probably, 100-150 feet from shore, and all but one, dragging riggin along the bottom. The 13" followed it to the boat and I stopped reeling and watch the fish swim by, then turn around and come back and attack my lure, literally, 3 feet from boat.
Tried a red and black spinnerbait, as well, with no action.
I am only posting a picture because in the lower part of it you can see what I was fishing with, the brownish tube looking thing.
