Thought maybe this lake may have faired better through the wrath of the double cold fronts, but I couldn't find a fish, just one 3lb trout that grabbed my lipless crankbait in about 3 feet of water. I released it, and don't count it as a catch in this report as it wasn't the species I was after. Water temps were 47-48 degrees, and the wind started out a nice 5mph but quickly jumped to 15+ I would guess. Never even got a bite or any kind of tap... Water level is still nice and high, just need that warm weather back...left about noon to go research a couple other lakes.
