Hit the lake at 0730 and fished til 1100. Couple bites down around the swimming area by the state park and caught a nice 14-15" along the shoreline between the state park launch and WDFW launch. Water is still cold and many others trolling looked like they had the same result even with wedding rings and pop gear. Some bait fisherman were doing well and a couple limited. Don't know how people keep the smaller plants that were just put in the lake. Really wish people would turn back anything under 14" to let them get bigger for better seasons down the road. Will try again once the weather warms up a bit.

A 2 fish 15" min. would be nice. Everyone would complain for the first couple of years, until all the lakes had big fish.

I totally agree. Do you know if they planted triploids this year?

They planted about 600 last year if I remember....this year thus far its about 2,000 1/2 lbs that were stocked on the 25th. I haven't fished flowing in over 10 years and remember I used to limit everytime with 15-18"....this lake sure has come downhill with the amount of boat traffic it gets from the water sport enthusiast. Wish they would put the speed limit back on the lake same with Pearrygin in Winthrop.
