The Grandview H.S. braintrust came out to fish with Andy this morning on our North River. Andy pounded away with T-4 Flatfish in both Luminous Chartreuse and Purple Glow. He got a couple of big fish to bite just off the bar early in the morning. Then he got a few other fish to bite including another nice quality fish. What a great way to enjoy Spring Break Vacation. Thanks to John, Paul and Jessie for coming out with us. Stop and Go's were the key to triggering these neutral fish.

Jeepers Anton, was this a big fish day or what? Say, what is the fight like with a laker tugging away on the end of the line, as they ascend from the extreme depths you are fishing?

Hi Guy: Their fight depends on the fish. Smaller fish tend to inflate. Bigger fish tend to burp their air and fight better. Shallower fish tend to do more than ultra deep fish. The challenge with the smaller fish is to buffer the head shakes and twists so they don't tear the hook out. Take Care.

On a different subject, are the Kokanee turing on yet? What is the surface temp currently on Lake Chelan? Thanks Anton.

The Temp. isn't quite 50 F yet. When it gets above that the kokanee will start to light up.
