Fantastic weather, good fishing. Fish from 7am to 1pm. Basically, just did a bunch of zig-zagging just north and south of the I90 bridge. Trolling speed between 1.4 - 1.6kts. Using downriggers we only used one lure, a frog colored needle fish. One downrigger was fishing at about 30ft and the other one was at 60ft (my buddy's idea, I thought he was crazy). The lures were setback 50 to 100ft behind the ball. When we started the day the water team was 44.4 degrees and when we left it was 46.7.

To my surprise most of the action was on the downrigger at 60ft pulled up 3 rainbows at 18inchs and one at 21.5 inches, a real, real nice fish (I have the pictures to prove it :-)).

We pulled a couple of fish on the other downrigger but because we could see they were smaller we didn't even measure them before we released them.

As the morning warmed up I said what the hell, I'll just flat-line (drag) a lure behind the boat, no weight, nothing. Low and behold I caught a 13 inch rainbow. He must have been sunning himself on the surface.
