Some friends and I went out at about 6pm to try the evening bite. Fishing was tough, not even a hit. We had three lines in the water all using different tackle to try and see what was going to work. We were using a deep crank, a shallow crank, and a pearl colored buzz bomb with worms on it. Nothing! We were in about 30 feet of water, about 25 yards from the marina just north of St. Andrews Bay in Seward Park. This is my fourth time out in two weeks with no luck, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Its' going to get better as the weather warms up. As the water warms up, they'll be shallow. You can throw crank baits to cover water. Right now, you'll need to find the deep weed line that runs 17 to 21 ft, thats typically the first spot they stop at before heading to the shallows.

I found you use a wedding ring, orange, and or green, piece a worm and troll along a shelf or bridge at 30-50' deep you will hook nice cuts! Kirkland /belevue 520 and over by UW side.
