Was reading the stocking report, and saw Lake Twelve was stocked recently. Headed out there to get some good practice in before heading over to eastern WA next weekend. Caught fish consistantly, little stocker guys. Didn't really have to work for them too much, it was good practice for me though Swinging my fly line and watching that rise after it as soon as it hit water. Even had a daring stocker fish jump at my back cast, and caught it! All flies used were pinched barbs for easy release, did have to keep one fish as we swallowed the whole fly, and he was bleeding too badly. All other released un-harmed. All fish caught were between 6-10 in. I was the only one for an hour in a half or so, then another floattube showed up, and a couple buddies in a boat. Both start catching fish right away. It was a good time, nothing of quality, all quantity. Good practice for me to prepare for those eastern WA lakes next weekend.

There are three lakes there. Nunnually, Merry and Lanice. I've done better at Merry and Lanice. I've never done too well at Nunnually. Lanice has always been best for me. Less people at Merry and some big fish.

Is Merry the smallest of the three lakes? Whatever that lake's name, I thought it might not have fish of any size.
