Got to the lake around 9 am, water temp was 47 degrees. It was a little breezy but not as bad as the last couple days. Overcast skies and temp in the low 40's.
Trolled for an hour or so with different spinners and wedding rings without any luck. Tried a chartruese with silver blade wedding ring and added a 1/4 ounce weight to the line and that did the trick. Caught these 4 in the next hour. All fish I saw on the fish finder were holding within a foot or two of the bottom, no fish above 7 feet deep.

Another respectable batch of trout. Are those 12-15" or so?

What end of the lake do you fish? We have a lot with a dock off of Bass Avenue; we catch a few but haven't really figured out the trout yet. How fast do you troll? What weight line? Do you have an older aluminum boat about 12-14'? If so, I see you fishing often.
Thanks
