We got on the water at about 6:00pm and fished until about 7:30pm. We were about 500 yards from the Northwest tip of Seward Park and found quite the school of bait fish in about 15 feet of water. Since I do not really have the equipment for trolling (row boat) I decided to paddle a little further and we jigged neon plastic worms along the bottom. I can't say we had much luck, I had one big strike at about 6:50pm and had the fish on for about a minute but I lost when I tried to adjust my drag on the fly...oh well. Besides that, the lake is gorgeous right now, we were the only boat in sight and the water was glass.
