Went out after work with my daughter Megan, Tom, and his buddy Greg for one last chance on sockeye. It started off a bit slow, but between 5 and 6 we were getting a fish every 10-15 minutes off the south tip of MI. We got one on red and one on green, but most on black or blue hooks. Ended up finishing with 7 fish, couldn't get the last one for the captain. It went dead around 7:00. I think it has something to do with the angle of the sun to the water and the amount of light that gets down to the dodgers. Oh, well. It was a beautiful evening on the water. Megan got the two biggest of the bunch, as it should be!
