Went out today and cruised around for a bit. Mainly to shake off the cabin fever and get familiar with my new boat. Can't beat a 55 degree day in the end of February!
Launched around 10:30am and cruised around for an hour or so. Water temp was around 42-43 degrees with no wind and zero ice left. The main launch dock isn't out so anyone looking at hitting up opening day tomorrow should plan on either a second man or wearing some waders. You could always ask the two guys I saw worm fishing from the launch area to help you if they're still there.
Looks like the 2010 season is upon us so goodluck to all this year. See ya on the water.
