Did you know that you don't have to pay to launch at the City boat launch in Lake Stevens? You just need to hang your WDFW permit & launch for free. The sign at the launch says something about the $5 fee OR the WDFW permit in order to launch. Better luck next time on the fishing...:)

Thats funny, being a smart ass to the authories always makes the ticket less painfull. I just wish more of our "fees" went to hatcheries.

DUDE! You were the one in the red jeep?? I was there fishing that day, out in my 16 ft starcraft on the East end of the lake trolling. Didn't manage any fish or bites either that day but the weather was nice! I noticed the ticket they gave you when I was leaving (I parked right next to your rig), and upon inspection of your dashboard I clearly saw your pass displayed on the right hand side of the dash in the little tray there! If I had been ticketed (which, for some reason, I was not) I would have been outraged! I hope they refund you those charges as we both know you were in the right.
