Fished Stevens today, tried everything, not even a bite, five other boats fishing, I dont believe they had any luck either, beautiful day plenty of sun and no wind, would of gave it a little better rating but as I returned to my jeep I was cited for failure to pay/display but as I explained to Ranger #450 supervisor, by phone, not only did I pay I displayed, be carefull at Wyatt park, county funds are very low, and they need to generate funds, Rich said he would dissmiss the ticket if I sent him the receit and my comment of " I hope Ranger #450 vision is a little better if he or she ever has the unfortunate event of having to pull their side arm" did not go over very well, he didn't think it was funny..

Did you know that you don't have to pay to launch at the City boat launch in Lake Stevens? You just need to hang your WDFW permit & launch for free. The sign at the launch says something about the $5 fee OR the WDFW permit in order to launch. Better luck next time on the fishing...:)

Thats funny, being a smart ass to the authories always makes the ticket less painfull. I just wish more of our "fees" went to hatcheries.

DUDE! You were the one in the red jeep?? I was there fishing that day, out in my 16 ft starcraft on the East end of the lake trolling. Didn't manage any fish or bites either that day but the weather was nice! I noticed the ticket they gave you when I was leaving (I parked right next to your rig), and upon inspection of your dashboard I clearly saw your pass displayed on the right hand side of the dash in the little tray there! If I had been ticketed (which, for some reason, I was not) I would have been outraged! I hope they refund you those charges as we both know you were in the right. E-mail me at pouleynorth@hotmail.com if you would like/need me to send them a letter as well, I believe I still have my parking pass from that day to verify that I was there at the same time as you, that is BS and they should be ashamed!
