Nice and sunny day but no fish. I went to the west side (i think) of the lake and cast power eggs most of the time. I also tried power bait and worms for a little while with no luck. I also tried bass fishing with a storm swim shad and a 3 foot diving DT rapala (you can see it in the picture). I lost both of those lures in a tree and never got them back. Im sure the fishing will be much better when the lake is stocked. Very nice little lake. Its hard to find a place to fish because of blackberry bushes and thick brush that covers half of it. I think it is stocked next month. Im not sure. I fished from 10:30 to 4:00.
