C Anderson...Don't know about Klineline, but Sacajewa in Longview was stocked the same day. Cormorants have decimated the stocked population. Darn things dive for over ten minutes at a time, feeding, feeding, feeding. There are dozens of them there. You can see them nesting at night at the lake and they feed all day. Can bareley make it out of the water, they gorge so much. 3,000 trout stocked but they can't last long at that rate...

I agree on those darn birds. I haven't caught any fish at all this year and they have planted around 15,000 fish so far this year. I've tried worms, powerbait, bread dough, cocktail shrimp and lures at depths varying from 2 to 30 feet. But naturally, I don't combat fish with the guys who stand 5 feet apart right after they plant fish either.

Does not help that this is one of the most poached places in clark county. People take buckets of fish out after they stock. Best part is watching the wardens check these people and they tell them that they dis not know they were doing anything wrong (in broken english). Makes me mad, best part no punishment for them. If I did it they would take my gear, truck ... BS
