I had a few hours to kill, sun was out, hooked up the boat ,went to Flowing, not a car in the parking lot, no wind, started marking fish at 15' put on my trusty 3'' perch pattern rapala with shrimp anise smelly jelly, set the downrigger at 14' and had my first fish 15 minutes later, thought it was going to be a slam dunk but did not get another fish for about a hour, another 15'' kept fishing, nothing, saw a fish rise took the line off the rigger flat line way behind the boat had a good take but did not stay on, left before it got dark, released both fish , had a good time, can't wait till water warms up, oh buy the way water temp was 45.7 on the west side of the lake and 46.8 on the east.

way to go man! sounds like you're starting out the way you finished up last year. As the rivers start to close, its time to start thinking trout. Did they give you a decent fight? was sea biscuit with you? thanks for the nice report. tight lines my pro fishing brother. check your e-mail.
