I was at the Jameson Lake Resort for the fishing derby in 5th place. We were in the boat fishing and I was 1 fish short of my limit. I took my fishing pole and went to the boat launch to try and catch my last fish. My power bait landed beside the end of the dock and as it was sinking I felt it hit something. It felt like a snag but than it pulled hard and I started to real in. I got the fish on shore and I took it to weigh it in with the rest of my fish, it weighed 3.5 lbs. At the end of the derby, the one fish got me first place and a new fishing pole.

Bottom fishing, with white power bait, from a boat, for rainbow trout in the afternoon at Jameson. Any other details that can be remembered from 2 years, 9 months, and 12 days..................give or take a couple hours.................................ago. I was wonderin what the weather and water temp was.............in case I jump in my Ron Popeil pocket fishermen time machine and turn the reel handle to May 5, 2007............12:01pm.
