Light breeze out of the s.w., one other boat on the water fishing for trout and two guys bank fishing. Hit most of my favorite spots, tried c-rigs, t-rigs, drop-shots, cranks, jigs, no dice. I know it's still February technically, and we still have the most important moon phase to come, but man am I jones'in for some largemouth action!! Sure wish I would have landed the one I hooked a couple weeks ago on Terrell!!!

Oh well, I should have by boat back next Monday (with no more issues I hope) so I will get more serious then, and with the weeks weather we're about to have, maybe it will be worth the wait?!

Again, no electronics, so limited info, however there is another wonderful green algae bloom in effect right now on this lake, not horrible but noticeable....

Talked to one of the bank fishermen on the way out and he said that he had caught a 3# triploid last week and pulled a bunch of plastic worms out of it's stomach, ugh! He had them in a ziplock bag and showed them to me, weird?! Sure hope everyone makes an honest attempt to keep their used plastics in a garbage bag in their boats...I would hate to see soft plastics banned! I know some times they rip off during the fight, and on snags, but lets all make an effort to keep our used ones in the boat and dispose of them properly!!
