Started out he morning at Blackman Lake in Snohomish. It has been hit and miss and it was definately dead this morning. Two other guys on the dock fished for 2.5 hours and nothing. I decided to move to the Silver Lake in So. Everett. I heard about the dock on the north side across from Romios.
I had my first one on in about ten minutes. My brother and I caught 9 kept five, lost a couple and let a few go to grow up a bit. All kept fish were 14" at least.
Two white marshmellows and a worm - super simple set up. Oh yeah and a squirt of galirc oil.
At one point I ran out of worms and only had some Berkley Pink plastic worms that I bought for steelhead fishing. I have never caught a trout on a plastic bait, but the last two hook ups came from that bait coupled with two marshmellows.
Off that dock it seemed 20 yards straight out was the hole.
