Well the weather cooperated and it turned out to be a perfect day on the water, only the fish had other plans. Slimy Slab and I focused our efforts South of Mercer Island and along with about 5 other boats. Seems that we weren't the only ones having trouble finding fish as all those we encountered had the same report, no fish and no strikes. The water surface temps are still in the 45 to 46 degree range and the water has cleared up quite a bit. We did encounter quite a lot of floating salad and other debris so keep your eyes open when running in this area. We headed for the north side of I-90 for a couple of passes and struck out there as well. Gear that was used for the day included herring, plug cut and whole, mini hoochies and Pro-Troll trout killers at depths between 15 and 60 feet. Someone please ring the dinner bell!
