My buddy and I took his boat out on Star Lake at about noon. Forgot the battery for the motor so we oared ourselves out about 75 yards north of the boat launch.
He hit two 10 inch rainbow right away with pink and yellow powereggs. He was casting right back towards the launch. After about an hour and a half of no bites I finally hit a 12 inch rainbow casting eastwards of the launch in front of a brown house with a really big flag pole. Picked up another 11 1/2 inch rainbow just 15 minutes later.
We had stuff to do so we had to call it at 3, but they were some nice fish!
