Fished for largemouth from 6am to 10:30am using buzzbait, chugger/prop topwater baits, Rat'l trap, crankbaits, jerkbait and spinnerbait. Caught 5 largemouth on a black 3/8 oz buzzbait (with single tail #176 grub trailer and no trailer hook) and lost 1 on a spinnerbait. The 4 biggest largemouth went 1 lb, 1 lb, 1-1/4 lb and 2-1/4 lb. All four were caught before 9:15 near shade from either lily pads or docks. Lots of minnows, small bass and small perch visible in the shallows.

NOTE: The number of lily pads is reduced from previous years due to multiple herbicide sprayings in 2003.
