Only the third time fishing RW and launched at Seatons Grove and headed for the first set of pens. Not much action there so we headed down the the second set of pens. Met Blfin Loui for the first time while there and what a great fisherman. Loui was very helpful and very knowledgable. Thank for the tips. My Brother-In-Law from Virginia was fishing with me and landed the biggest fish of the day (10 lbs-10 oz) that put up a great battle. I lost a nice fish about 8 lbs at the boat and we finished the day with a 5 lb fish. We fished till after noon and the current became real slack and the action died. Kept the two fish and headed back to launch. All in all a great day on the river and meeting Blufin Loui. Forgot camera put Loui took a couple of pics and maybe I can get Loui to post them for me. We will get some pics when we get back home and post then also. Thanks Blufin Loui, I will be heading back in a couple of weeks. Look for the American Flag on the side of the 23' Wooldridge Boat. touche2

Hello touchet2, Nice boat you have there, and it was great to meet fellow WLers on the water, and what a trout your BnL pulled in. A battle he'll remember for some time to come. Next time your 8er wont get away. On your future trips, when the current goes slack in that area just use the electric bow mount and work further down the shoreline (right side going downstream). The trout should be cruising that shoreline, and would make great targets by staynig out a good casting distance from the bank, and tossing Crocodiles, Kastmasters, Thomas Bouyant (sp) spoons or the super roostertail at the shoreline. OR if the trolling urge is on ya, then just troll the shoreline in about 10-25 feet depts with wedding rings, flies with the wigglefin, or any of the many trolling gear out there. Thanks for the report, and hope to run across ya on the water again soon.
