Ok this report is a little different than my past reports for Lake Chelan..I have been asked to take a picture and show the exact location where I fish off Rocky Point. So here you go..I do target the depths of 165 to 240 ft deep on each side of Rocky Point. What I mean by the sides meaning the Down Lake Side and up Lake side..You may see other reports from another guide calling this the Trench. What I have found recently is that the Laketrout are off the spawn now and are real hungry from exerting all there energy due to spawning activity.
I was out this morning and got into a very strong bite on the edges of Rocky Point side and also on the edges of Minneapolis Beach side.
I boated 20 Lakers this morning only running 2 Rods..Awesome Bite..The Ace Hi-fly in Green was the ticket just as I have mentioned before.
Keep your trolling speed right at 1.4 mph to be most productive and your presentation 1 ft off the bottom..All Laketrout stomachs were just Packed full of Shrimp. Pictured is me with a nice 7lb. laker.
Tight Lines to all and on my next Lake Chelan report I will include another Photo of Minneapolis Beach Location..Feel free to contact me with questions anytime..
