Had some work to do on the cabin in Tonasket,fished Okanogon River for about an hour each day Thursday and Friday with not a bite.Really wanting to feel a tug on the end of my line before heading home on Saturday i decided to fish RW on the way home. Since my boat was in Olympia i decided to try the pontoon boat i put in just below the middle pens fishing 1/8 oz black jigs drifting down river casting to shore.about ten casts and fish on.Fish was on the small side for RW about two pounds since i was not planning on keeping any fish he was promptly released to fight another day. About a half hour later my resolve to not keep any fish was changed by a fish just over ten pounds. I fished a total of three hours and landed five fish all released but one. Wanted tod to stay longer but the weather forcast for the pass was not good so packed up and headed home,The pass was no problem could have fished a little longer.but will be back soon.
