Fished on this Wednesday from 6:45 to noon. Tried B/W spoons, SuperDupers, dark Panther Martins and light Roostertails without success. Finally starting getting hits with a small blue and silver "Fiord" spoon on an ultralight rod trolled on the surface. Four hits resulted in landing two browns (13" and 15"). All of the hits were mid-lake, but this was where I spent 95% of my time (based on tips from others).
When the wind picks up the northernmost 3/4's of the lake gets very choppy. (The launch is at the southernmost part of the lake). Don't go too far south if your boat can't return into the wind of the afternoon.
